WiM is a Winner!

We are thrilled to announce that we at WiM have been honored with a bronze medal for social media in Association TRENDS’ 2013 All-Media Contest!  Our entry was one of nearly 470 entries in the association publication’s contest. Our submission included the efforts we make on our website , our blog , our Twitter account and our Facebook page . The TRENDS All Media Contest is an annual competition held exclusively for associations, recognizing the most creative and effective communication vehicles developed in the industry over the prior year. We are very proud and honored to be included among the contest winners this year and we have all of you - our friends, followers, readers, members and supporters - to thank!  What began as a small group of PMA members has grown into a strong, powerful network of women from across the manufacturing sector with what we think is a very important mission: supporting, retaining and advancing women in the manufacturing industry.  We hope that in creating

Six members of WiM were honored last week with STEP Awards.  Here's our press release congratulating these extraordinary women.  We are so proud! Six Women in Manufacturing™ Members Honored As STEP Award Winners Cleveland, OH – Women in Manufacturing™ (WiM) was well represented at last week’s Manufacturing Institute 2014 STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Awards. Six WiM members made the list of 160 recipients.  Last week’s ceremony was the second annual event in which awards were given to women in the manufacturing industry who demonstrate excellence and leadership in their careers.  Recipients represented all levels of the manufacturing industry, from the factory floor to the C-suite.
