Scott founded the Black Line Group in 2003 to focus exclusively on providing R&D tax credit expertise to small and mid-size business owners.   He has presented on the R&D tax credit for many trade associations across the country and has authored numerous articles on this important issue.

 

Scott will be joined by Omar Nashashibi of the Franklin Partnership.  Omar is one of the leading manufacturing lobbyists in Washington, DC and represents PMA and the National Tooling & Machining Association among other manufacturing clients.  Omar is a partner at The Franklin Partnership, LLP and provide participants with an update on efforts in Congress to make the R&D tax credit permanent and other issues related to tax reform.
