Women in Manufacturing Signs on as MFG Day Sponsor

We're pleased to announce that we are joining in MFG DAY this year as a sponsor!

MFG Day, scheduled for October 3, 2014, provides a special opportunity to address common misperceptions about manufacturing.  At local-level events around the country, young people and their parents as well as students and other community members will tour local manufacturing facilities and learn what manufacturing really is — and isn’t. 

We are especially glad to be a part of MFG Day because we believe events like this empower manufacturers to help future generations thrive by attracting new workers to the sector.

We know that the skills gap in manufacturing today can not be solved by focusing on only men, on only half of the workforce.  We know that bringing women into manufacturing facilities will show them that manufacturing is a good place for them.
