Gerber Technology – Associate Business Transformation Consultant

A Gerber Technology Associate Business Transformation Consultant is a critical professional, supporting our customers throughout their enterprise digital transformation, including the initial discovery phase, requirements gathering, configuration, training, issue resolution, upgrades, support handoff, and overall project management. As a Transformation Consultant, you will be learning a great deal about the apparel and fashion industry and our customer base.

Job Functions:

·       You will have responsibility for supporting the Consultants on various facets of their roles, including documentation, testing and compiling information on the client.

·       Participating in workshops to collect client data and document configuration needs for projects: client roles, job responsibilities, and processes.

·       Participate in working sessions with customer to identify application requirements.

·       Participate in project team meetings.

·       Assist in the creation of status reports and presentations of assigned projects.

·       Assist in creating meeting materials and customer training materials as required.

·       Assist in identifying areas where efficiencies can improve through processes and integrated solutions.

·       Travel to client sites.

Requirements:

·       Strong organizational and analytical skills combined with a technical aptitude

·       Experience maintaining project plans, issue logs, risk identification, and status reports are preferred

·       Understanding the aligning of technology towards business objectives is preferred

·       Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project and Visio a plus

·       Excellent written and oral communications skills that are audience appropriate applying the style and delivery necessary to impact the audience

·       Exhibits a can-do attitude with excitement and passion about work

·       Demonstrate thought leadership and apply outside perspectives to solve business problems

·       Adept business acumen; ability to understand, articulate, and implement business concepts

·       Demonstrate the ability to follow defined processes and procedures to achieve results

·       A strong sense of accountability and ownership, understanding your role on the project team and supporting your colleagues

·       Understanding of when and how to escalate issues, manage risk and understand the impact of decisions

·       Expected travel of 10% - 40%
