Description: Manufacturing supply chains are facing more challenges and complexity than ever before. From increased globalization, changes in customer demand, pressure to reduce costs and business disruptions, this presentation will highlight some of the emerging topics in the manufacturing supply chain and how to address them.
Track II: “Technical Content – Updating Your Resources for Today’s Environment”

Description: This presentation will discuss resources available to address training needs in organizations throughout the country. Discussion will include an overview of online curriculum and digital resources available for the manufacturing sector.
Track III: “Career Development: A Holistic Vision as a Foundation to Your Professional Brand”
Cindy Cominsky and Mary Jean Amon, University of Cincinnati
Description: During this session, participants will develop holistic visions of their careers visions that integrate their professional and personal goals. Then, participants will translate their visions into authentic, professional brands that honor their values.

Track I: “Building High Impact Teams Through Energy Leadership”

Description: This presentation will allow participants to identify the different types of energy in engagements that will lead to either productive interactions or destructive ones. They will also understand how they are empowered to choose their roles as leaders, define them so they have clear expectations, and ensure their roles have alignment with their values.
Track II: “Building a Personal Learning Network”
Alisa Fleming & Connie Lorthridge, University of Phoenix
Description: This session will focus on opportunities for building and maintaining a professional association through the use of personal learning networks, social media and networking. Participants will discover ways to enhance their personal and professional brand and how to leverage personal learning networks to support women in the field of manufacturing and the communities in which they serve.
Track III: “Marketing for a Manufacturing Environment. The Trends Between Business to Business to Partner to Partner”

Description: Trends in marketing are moving from pure business to business to partner to partner. In order to make those decisions part of a trusting process between two companies, manufacturers must embark on a long term relationship.
